Mount Athonite Basil is a perennial, bushy variety that reaches a height of up to 80 to 100 cm, with dense foliage and an intense aroma. The leaves are medium in size and dark green in colour. The flowers are white or slightly pinkish, having more reproductive than ornamental value.
It is planted in mid-spring and grows throughout the year, paying particular attention to winter frosts. It flowers from mid-summer to October. It loves sun and heat, but requires cool soil, so it needs regular watering especially in summer.
Plant height: 50 to 60 cm
