Kendia is an exotic houseplant that we choose to give a tropical character to homes and commercial spaces. Originating from Australia, the centia is distinguished by its slender trunk from which palm-like leaves with long stems branch out. It is slow growing and can be left in the same pot for a long time, reaching a height of up to two metres. The centia needs to be in a high level of atmospheric humidity because otherwise the tips of the leaves dry out. The use of a humidifier is beneficial during the hot summer period for the centia, while frequent spraying of the leaves with distilled water is essential.
